Lecture series: Wissen schafft Energie

On nine dates, the speakers will show what contribution Leibniz University's energy research can make to climate-friendly development and the energy transition in the city. The topics range from solar and wind energy to electromobility, hydrogen, energy systems and air traffic.

As part of the Year of Science, the lecture series "Wissen schafft Energie – Energieforschung für die Stadt von morgen" will take place at Leibniz Universität in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Hannover from 10 April 2025. During this series, CRC-Speaker Raimund Rolfes will give a presentation on the topic „«Grünes Kraftwerk Europas» - Energieversorgung der Stadt von morgen durch Offshore-Megastrukturen in der Nordsee“ on 2nd July.
