New research focus on energy research at Leibniz Universität Hannover

Energy research is now the sixth research focus at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Around 300 scientists from all faculties are conducting joint research in this focus area.

Leibniz University has a new research focus: energy research. Over 300 researchers from all institutes at Leibniz University are working together on this topic to find solutions for a transition to a climate-neutral energy system. Research focuses on the further development of technologies for the provision, storage, transport and utilisation of energy. Research will also focus on the interrelationships and interactions with the environment and society. The CRC 1463 is looking forward to continuing to contribute to the results of the new research area in the future with its work in a wide range of research areas.
