CRC1463 enters second funding period

On 22 November 2024, the committee of the German Research Foundation extended the CRC for a further four years, thus acknowledging the research to date and the potential of the first funding period.

New key research focus on energy research at Leibniz University

Leibniz University has declared energy research as its new, sixth research focus! More than 300 researchers are working on these topics across all faculties, including, of course, those involved in the CRC 1463.

Design and operate future offshore wind turbines using digital twins

The aim of Collaborative Research Center 1463 is to research physical and methodological principles based on the concept of the Digital Twin. The Digital Twin is an individual simulation model for the development of integrated design and operational planning.
