From 6-8- September 2023 the 19th PhD seminar of the European Academy of Wind Energy took place at the Leibniz University of Hannover. The PhD seminar is a conference organised by PhD students for PhD students with focus on presenting research and networking. This years organising committee consisted of PhD students of the CRC 1463: Offshore Megastructures and was supported by student assistants.
We welcomed over 140 participants from 14 different countries in Hannover and had 120 research presentations from Europe and the US in the field of wind energy. We are very happy with the amount of participants and warmly want to thank the PhD students, Keynote speakers and sponsors for the attendance. All subprojects of the CRC were involved in this event and helped to make it possible. Among others, this seminar was sponsored by our industrial partners Enercon, JBO, Ramboll, WPD and Wölfel.
